1935  -  2009

LaVelle J. Nowling passed away on November 11, 2009 surrounded by his family. LaVelle was born April 9, 1935 to Jesse and Ruby Nowling in Clifton, ID.

LaVelle married LaVon Dixon on February 7, 1953.

He was a member of the LDS church.

LaVelle loved fishing, hunting and outdoor activities.

Surviving are his children Connie (Eddie) Oden and Curtis (Laura) Nowling; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and sisters: Sherian Hafer & Idella Ransom.

Preceded in death by his wife Lavon; parents; daughter Christine Brown; son Rick J. Nowling and three sisters.

The family would like to thank Leslie and the Vista Care Staff.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd, Ogden. Friends may call on Monday prior to the service from 12:00 – 12: 45 p.m.
