Joshua D. Phipps July 6, 1987 – August 17, 2008
On Sunday, August 17th, our son, Joshua David Phipps passed away doing what he loved most – hunting in the mountains with his father and brother.
Despite all of his problems, Joshua loved life. He loved riding his 4 – wheeler and hanging out with his friends. He loved movies and eating out. He loved his niece, his nephews and his dog, Pluto. Joshua will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his parents, David and Lenette Phipps; grandmothers, Vivian Daly (Richard) and Grace Miller; brother, Aaron Brown; sisters, Mandy Carson (Josh), Angela Simmons (Kenny), niece, Anastasya Carson; nephew, Taylor Simmons and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his grandfathers, Norman L. Miller and Frank Phipps.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday August 22, 2008 at the First Southern Baptist Church, 1175 West 600 North. A viewing will be on Thursday August 21, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road and 1 hour prior to services at the church.
