“Special Grannie”

1942 - 2008

Our loving mother, sister, aunt, grannie and friend to many, Myrna Ellis passed away peacefully on August 14, 2008 with loved ones by her side.

She was born on June 12, 1942 to Gladys Walsh Davies and Malcom William Ellis. She attended East High School. After graduation she worked for Mountain Bell Telephone before adopting her two children; Justin and Natalie.

There could never be any kind of measurement in her accomplishments here on earth. Myrna was a strong, caring, compassionate person who never judged others. She had a big heart and was always willing to put others before herself.

She is survived by her son; Justin, daughter; Natalie, two grandchildren; Aspen and Dakota, six sisters and one brother as well as many friends who loved and cherished her.

The family would like to express their thanks to Salt Lake Regional Hospital and Caresource Hospice Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah, with a viewing one hour prior to the services at the mortuary.
