1931  -  2008

Michael Brescia, 77, of Springville, Utah, died Friday, August 15, 2008, at his home. He was born March 20, 1931, in New York, New York, a son of Victor and Fannie Cittadini Brescia. He married Susan J. Maturlo, June 5, 1982, in Massachusetts.

He graduated from Pratt Institute with a civil engineering degree. He worked most of his life in the construction industry as a building consultant and estimator. He loved his work. He was active in the St. Peters Masonic Lodge in New Milford, CO and achieved Master Mason.

He was a fantastic chef and loved cooking for his wife and entertaining friends. He was an avid fly fisherman. He hunted, wood carved, painted, played drums, and loved the woods and water. He was a very charismatic indvidual, and his friends were very special to him.

He is survived by his wife, Susan, his children, Michael, Barbara, and Andrea, his six grandchildren, and his two brothers, Julian and Richard.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, August 21st, at 10 a.m. in the St Mary's Episcopal Church, 50 West 200 North, Provo. Interment will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
