1966 - 2008
Scott Durbin rejoined our Heavenly Father on August 13, 2008, after a short and courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Santa Monica, California on April 22, 1966. He grew up in Gardena, CA until he moved to Lompoc, CA in 1984. He attended San Jose Job Corps and graduated as a machinist. In 1993 he moved to Utah with his two children.
In 1996 Scott met Megan Russell and married her in 1999; they had a daughter.
He was preceded in death by an uncle; 3 aunts; 2 cousins and his grandparents.
Survived by his parents Lawrence and Shirley Durbin (Park City); brother Greg Durbin (Salt Lake City); in-laws Scott and Penny Russell (No. Ogden); brother-in-law Brandon Russell (Ogden); wife Megan Russell Durbin (Ogden); 3 children Logan Durbin, Shawnee Durbin and Shianne Durbin; a nephew and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 514 24th St. Friends and family may call on Monday, August 18th at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden from 6 to 8 p.m. where a Rosary will be held at 7 p.m.
Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
