Junior Frank Neilson

Junior Frank Neilson, 78, returned to his Heavenly Father, August 13, 2008. He was born October 8, 1929 in Ogden the son of William Henry and Sarah Idela Johnson Neilson. He married his loving wife of 57 years, Jean Jacobsen on March 31, 1951.
Junior retired from Ogden City after 38 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing with his children and grandchildren and loved to watch the kids play ball. He enjoyed fishing with his friend Larry Leishman. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were his greatest joy in life. Junior was a member of the LDS 4th Ward.
He is survived by his wife Jean; children Terry (Kathy) Neilson, Kathy (Jeff) Butters, Joey (Christy) Neilson; eight grandchildren Tiffanie (Justin) Oladi, Ashley Butters, Chase Butters, Cody Neilson, Nicole Neilson, Meagan Neilson Jared Neilson and Michelle Neilson; his twin great-grandbabies Alex and Alexus Oladi. He is also survived by 2 brothers Lynn (Jackie) Neilson and Alvin (Darlene) Neilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Arlin and sister Fern Hess.
Graveside services will be held Monday, August 18, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the West Weber Cemetery, 4592 W. 1000 No. Friends and family may call at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. prior to service.
